    Our Safety Team is immediately hiring a Regional Safety Manager in the Everett, WA area.


    What you will do:

    • Starting pay range:
    $67,000- $77,000


    • Eligible for Semi-Annual Bonuses
    • Enforce company, state, and federal policies, regulations and procedures.
    • Coach, lead and mentor MIDW employees on quality and safety best practices.
    • Conduct outreach and training to employees on safety processes, procedures and regulations.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of safety programs specific to the FMCSA's Compliance, Safety and Accountability Program (CSA) to ensure company's good standing as a motor carrier. This also includes to properly contest (DataQ) violations that may have been made in error to hold the integrity of the company's CSA BASIC scores.
    • Ensure training standards and regulations are being met to include conducting face to face training and coaching sessions with employee's.
    • Assist with the implementation of safety policies, procedures, trainings and manuals for the company's trucking operations pursuant to FMCSA, DOT and Hazardous Material regulations.
    • Provide leadership, guidance and program development in the interpretation and application of safety best practices as they pertain to the company's trucking operations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Technical knowledge of OSHA, DOT, safety and hazardous materials regulations required.
    • High proficiency in:
    Data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required.

    • Commercial Driver's License holder preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in trucking operations required. Safety, training and/or compliance related experience can be substituted.
    • Working knowledge of AS400 software preferred.
    • Ability to react calmly and act effectively in emergency situations.
    • Proven leadership skills able to influence and motivate individuals or groups quickly to achieve results.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner.
    • Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and as part of team.
    • Strong analytical knowhow, to include gathering data and preparing reports. Must be detailed oriented with a tenacious focus on results.
    • Ability to investigate and analyze information in order to draw conclusions.
    • Ability to recognize onsite risk factors and take appropriate action with firmness and professionalism.
