    Job Description

    Alumis Inc. is a company dedicated to advancing medications for patients with autoimmune diseases, aiming to enhance their quality of life. They are in search of a seasoned Senior Medical Director for Clinical Development to play a pivotal role in various phases of dermatology and autoimmune drug research. The ideal candidate will lead specific assets within the portfolio and collaborate closely with a diverse team to drive clinical programs forward.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as a senior representative for Alumis in the fields of Dermatology and Immunology
    • Lead the management of the global ESK-001 Phase 3 program for plaque psoriasis
    • Influence cross-functional teams across different departments
    • Design and execute clinical studies and initiatives
    • Provide strategic guidance for early and late-stage clinical projects
    • Collaborate with Business Development for potential collaborations and acquisitions
    • Coach and support team members to achieve business objectives
    • Maintain high standards of integrity and scientific inquiry
    • Collaborate with CRO for medical oversight in the Phase 3 program

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • MD or equivalent with board certification in Dermatology or related areas
    • Extensive experience in drug development
    • Noted expert in R&D with the ability to engage with Key Opinion Leaders and regulators
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
    • Business acumen and negotiation skills
    • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution
    • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects efficiently
    • Experience working in a matrixed organizational structure
    • Ability to work independently with autonomy

    This role is based in South San Francisco, CA and does not support fully remote work.

    The salary for this position ranges from $325,000 USD to $358,000 USD per year. Please note that this is an estimate and actual compensation may vary.
