    Normal Work Schedule (Other):: Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 5:30pm; Friday 8:00am to 11:30am. Adjunct schedule may vary.

    Job Responsibilities

    Teaching Responsibilities
    • Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis
    • Maintain records of student attendance and progress
    • Provide consistent and appropriate time spent at each clinical facility
    • Understand policy for reporting accidents and completing incident reports
    Instructional Development
    • Develop clinical rotation schedules
    • Complete clinical evaluations per student for each clinical rotation. Written evaluation to be based on evaluating student from start to finish of a surgical procedure performed at a clinical site.
    • Input case information onto case summary spread sheet
    • Review all clinical documentation each week and provide student feedback in a timely manner.
    Professional Development
    • Attend relevant professional meetings
    • Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local,state, and national levels.
    Minimum and Additional Requirements

    Diploma in Surgical Technology. National Surgical Technology Certification required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Minimum of two years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
