- Responsible for overseeing a team of Enterprise Security engineers involved in developing and maintaining enterprise security.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of security personnel.
- Manage enterprise security tools, ensure tool availability and effectiveness, engage with vendors and stakeholders, enhance security coverages and tools operations continuously, etc.
- Implement security standard methodologies, ensure data privacy, and comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and business partners to grasp their requirements and offer secure cloud solutions.
- Participate in product requirement and technical design discussions to shape requirements, mentor engineers, identify organizational priorities, technical objectives, and design strategies covering the entire Synopsys ecosystem.
- Deliver foundational and strategic security engineering solutions to expand on-premises capabilities into multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Enhance security tool efficiency and usability through automation and integration.
- Hold a University degree or equivalent certified education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience in managing enterprise security engineering teams.
- 10+ years of experience in providing Cloud security solutions engineering responsibilities in an international enterprise organization.
- Capable of drafting project plans for security service and technology deployments, coordinating with stakeholders organization-wide.
- Proficiency with Azure, GCP, and AWS cloud providers and their capabilities.
- Experience in cloud computing (e.g., applications security, infrastructure security, storage security, platforms security, and data security).
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills with a successful track record of leading diligent engineering teams and building and managing exceptional security engineering teams.
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with multifunctional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards including but not limited to PCI-DSS, HIPAA-HITECH, GDPR, ISO 27001/2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FedRamp, StteRamp, IEC 62443.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC are preferred.

The Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering team at Synopsys is expanding and on the hunt for a Director, Enterprise Security Engineering. This is a key leadership position responsible for devising and executing enterprise-wide cybersecurity engineering initiatives that cater to the organization's specific business technology requirements.
