- 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
- Follows procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, and result reporting.
- Performs proficiency testing and documentation.
- Adheres to quality control policies and documents all pertinent activities.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in testing areas.
- Coordinates departmental staff work and assists in various responsibilities.
- Meets company attendance policy and complies with all regulatory standards.
- Reports accurate and timely test results.
- Maintains a safe work environment and wears appropriate protective equipment.
- BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related field.
- 6 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
- Familiarity with Laboratory information systems.
- Ability to work overtime or other shifts based on business needs.
- Knowledge of CLIA, JCAHO, CAP and state regulations.
