    SALARY: $ per hour

    WORK SCHEDULE : Monday and Tuesday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Function as "public relations" staffer, interacting effectively with the public and staff.
    • Route and distribute all agency mail.
    • Answer general information questions and/or route calls to appropriate person.
    • Enter visitor names into Workspeed for staff who do not have access to Workspeed. In addition, enter repair requests into Workspeed when requested by senior staff.
    • Responsible for maintaining adequate stock of office supplies. This task requires working with the Purchasing Manager and advising PM what supplies should be ordered.
    • FedEx supplies should be maintained by Receptionist and those supplies will be ordered by Administrative Assistant who is assigned to accessing the Fed Ex account. Receptionist should advise the AA when supplies are needed.
    • Take accurate phone messages when needed and relay to staff in a timely fashion.
    • Send, receive, and route facsimile messages as needed.
    • Sort all SSI and SSD consumer checks by program and counselor on the 1st and 3rd of each month. On a timely basis
    • Sort and time stamp all Entitlement Department mail by program and counselor on a timely basis.
    • Open and date stamp all Finance Department mail. Individual Finance Department heads will be responsible to communicate which specific mail this will include.
    • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
    • Special Projects as assigned – For all special projects that are assigned, Supervisor will assess workload and will prioritize tasks as needed.

    MINIMIUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent, excellent interpersonal and communication skills detailed-oriented, excellent speaking voice and good command of the English language, have the ability to interact with all levels of staff, light typing skills would as well as basic computer knowledge would be helpful, but not required.
