    Skylo Technologies is a global NTN service provider based in Mountain View, CA, offering a service that allows smartphone and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over existing satellites. Skylo works with existing satellite operators, network operators, and device makers to provide subscribers an anywhere, anytime connectivity solution that seamlessly roams between terrestrial and satellite networks. Skylo's focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows for machines at work across critical industries such as agriculture, maritime, logistics, mining, and others, in addition to mass-market consumer devices.

    Skylo is building the world's first truly ubiquitous machine data connectivity network at disruptively low cost. Our network serves presently unconnected machines, sensors and IoT devices on farms, roadways, borders, mountains, and oceans. We're a team that's mission-oriented and focused on operating a highly efficient, reliable, end-to-end machine & sensor data mobility service on a global basis. The company is emerging from stealth mode, and led by a team of top operators from the satellite, wireless telecom and enterprise data industry. Skylo Technologies is hiring a Head of Marketing, responsible for driving a cohesive message with our customers and across industry. This person will work closely with Product Management and Sales to prioritize customer verticals, understanding Skylo's position within the competitive landscape. This role will help to build Skylo's brand with our customers and key target markets and elevate our position within industry. This person will understand the market and will help champion the company's mission and educate users with Skylo's solutions. Additionally, this person will be responsible for setting the long-term marketing communications strategy and managing media relations in-country.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage and coordinate the Skylo Blog, website, and any external communications
    • Run PR campaigns and manage PR agencies as required, including strict adherence to budget
    • Create, implement and maintain a single Skylo Voice across all collateral, communications, creatives, etc.
    • Identify and manage external vendors as required
    • Implement and manage Customer Satisfaction Scores and Key Metrics
    • Institute and measure Campaign Performance
    • Oversee Global Events and strategies
    Qualifications
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • Ability to manage external vendors & partners on quick timelines
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Outcome-oriented -- focused on timelines, deliverables
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt in a highly fluid environment
    • Creativity and planning
    • Clear long term vision with ability to break into achievable, short term milestones
    • Previous experience in a fast-moving startup environment is preferred
    • Ability to understand global markets, create market specific execution plans, and works across time zones
    • Highly collaborative, with a history of successful cross-functional leadership
