    Texas Oncology is looking for a Full-time Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team This is a full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

    This position can be a level 1, 2 or Sr based on relevant candidate experience.

    Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.

    Must recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care and participates in company-wide quality initiatives. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
    Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.

    • Assesses patient/family needs and provides teaching and other instructional material.
    • Prepares and administers therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
    • Assures pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable.
    • Maintains accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
    • Applies knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

    Level 1:

    • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
    • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
    • 0-3 years nursing experience.
    • Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements): 3-5 years nursing experience.
    Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements):

    • Five years nursing experience.
