- Develop solutions for technical problems using basic scientific principles and existing technologies.

- Ability to travel for fieldwork and/or meetings.
- Experience with developing conceptual site models and preparing remediation strategies.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office suite software applications.
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
- Database, GIS, CAD, visualization software skills desirable.

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist/Geologist to support the Environmental business line from our Omaha, Nebraska office.
The ideal candidate will utilize basic scientific principles to develop solutions for technical problems and prepare technical documents and proposals.
This position involves working on Department of Defense (DoD) projects, which require interpreting and recording data, conducting analyses, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
The role also involves applying standard field practices and techniques to collect samples, preparing samples for shipping, and completing chain-of-custody paperwork.
A successful candidate will have a strong foundation in natural sciences, including chemistry, physics, biology, hydrology, and mathematics, and be able to explain observations and determine how to restore the environment.
