Description

Customer seeking a Cloud Engineer within O&M working on legacy system. Must have experience with cloud formation, Linux admin, GitHub and Jenkins. Also should have some experience with Jira. They are working on deployment of Linux 7 to Linux 8 migration.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience
Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to production systems to include troubleshooting
Demonstrated experience with cloud platform administration such as Amazon Web Services
Demonstrated experience with configuration and infrastructure management of technical components, including hardware, software, and data
Demonstrated experience developing and continuing improvement of automation and procedures scripts
Demonstrated experience in analyzing and supporting cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services
Demonstrated experience monitoring system performance and recommending corrective action
Demonstrated experience documenting cloud environment and maintaining the documentation
Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code software such as Terraform or Ansible
Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python
Demonstrated experience with Linux or Linux Administration
Demonstrated experience with software version control management such as GitHub
Demonstrated experience with application build pipelines such as Jenkins.
Must possess an Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
