What's your day like?
As a Personal Care Assistant at Sunshine Assisted Living in Paradise, you will work closely with the team to provide essential care and support to residents with varying needs.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, toileting, hygiene, and skin care. You will also be instrumental in monitoring residents with specific risks and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
With a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach, you will ensure each resident looks and feels their best throughout the day.
By attending to residents' personal grooming, assisting with daily activities, and promptly addressing any changes in their physical or emotional well-being, you will contribute to their comfort, safety, and overall enjoyment.

Successful candidates for the Personal Care Assistant position must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
The ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with residents, their families, and other staff members is essential.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, along with a genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact in their daily lives.
Familiarity with common care protocols and procedures, as well as the ability to follow care plans accurately, is important.
Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment for resident care, such as lifts and mobility aids, is beneficial. Candidates should also demonstrate empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to meeting residents' needs effectively.
