    Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Mass Properties Engineer for the F35 Program in Fort Worth, Texas
    What You Will Be Doing o Technical Lead and Control Account Manager for F-35 Production Mass Properties.
    o Lead teams of Weight & Balance Engineers for DD-250 Production measurements.
    o Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft weight & balance equipment designs.
    o Provide Airworthiness Documentation for "as-delivered" F-35 aircraft (including Weight & Balance Handbook, Zero Fuel Mass Properties, and Aircraft Data Load files)
    o Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.

    o Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), o with significant coordination with external IPTs, Final Assembly and Check-Out (FACO), and suppliers.

    Basic Qualifications:
    o Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Civil Engineering
    o Experience with CATIA V5 or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
    o 5-10 years in Mass Properties Engineering or equivalent engineering industry
    o Certified by U.S
    Air Force or NAVAIR to perform Operational Weight and Balance or Equivalent Certification
    o Control Account Management (CAM) or Equivalent Certification
    o Provide customer support and troubleshooting for field services or operational personnel

    Desired Skills:
    o Demonstrate effective team leadership skills
    o Maintain healthy relationships with External & Internal Customers (foreign and domestic)
    o Experience with Automated Weight & Balance System (AWBS)
    o Experience with Automated Form F (AFF)
    o Familiar with Final Assembly & Check-Out (FACO) and DD250 Documentation & training
    o Familiar with Weight & Balance work instructions, Tip-back & Turnover Analysis
    o Model Based Definition (MBD) experience
    o Experience with Configuration Management Systems or Product Life-cycle Management (PLM)
    o Experience with creating and releasing Airworthiness Artifacts (i.e
    software data loads) for aircraft Mass Properties
    o Experience with MPDMS v6 or large-scale mass properties databases
    o Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
