    Job Overview - Medical Assistant:

    Join our client's healthcare team as a Medical Assistant and play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.     Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant include:

    • Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
    • Taking and recording patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information
    • Preparing and maintaining examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
    • Performing basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalysis
    • Administering medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare professionals
    • Assisting in patient education, explaining procedures and treatments to patients
    • Managing patient documentation, including updating electronic health records accurately
    • Scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and handling administrative tasks
    • Providing compassionate and empathetic care to patients, addressing their concerns and needs
    • Collaborating with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive experience

    Qualifications for the Medical Assistant include:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assisting program is preferred
    • Relevant certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical practices
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and patient care
    • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
