System Engineer (Senior/SME)

CSEngineering is looking to add Systems Engineers (Senior through SME level) to our growing team The positions will support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) in generating technical Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) requirements, and, in the case of SSIO, integration activities across all SSC programs, through Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to improve integration and mission effectiveness.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Outlined below are the critical responsibilities for this position:


Senior:
Oversees the efforts of less senior staff is responsible for journeyman and Junior Level Systems Engineers.

Conducts AoAs to assess design solution alternatives.

Facilitates cooperation among stakeholders to define technology applications.

Leads the development of CONOPS and TTPs and engineering studies.

Develops the Systems Engineering Management Plan and leads analysis to support reviews such as SRR and SFR.

Manages all engineering functions in support of experimentation, integration and operations.

Maintains operational efficiency of systems while configuring networks.

Performing hardware deployments and implementing software according to engineering plans.


SME:
Provides guidance and consults with senior staff assessing design solution alternatives.

Consults with various stakeholders to define technology applications and recommends solutions to develop CONOPS and TTPs.

Leads engineering studies to facilitate and develop the Systems Engineering Management Plan.

Provides analysis to support reviews such as SRR and SFR

Consults on engineering functions in support of experimentation, integration and operations.

Guides Senior-level Systems Engineers in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring configurations and implementations comply with industry regulations and security standards.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance:
Current Top Secret or TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible

10+ years (Senior) or 15+ years (SME) of strong MBSE / Digital Engineering experience, preferably with space systems.

Think 'digital first' and be willing to challenge the status quo, as appropriate to push the change that the Space Force needs.

Master's degree in systems engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science with Systems Engineering Specialization, Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Space Systems Engineering or relevant field.

Preferred Certifications and Qualifications:
Specialized training or certifications in MBSE/Digital Engineering tools and methodologies within these domains (e.g., SysML, UML, Modelica).
