- Performs HR operations including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave management, disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Oversee the entire recruitment process and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions, working closely with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies needed for each role
- Manage the onboarding and hiring process by sending offer letters, ensuring completion of necessary documentation, and coordinating new hire orientation
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Support payroll processing by updating employee files biweekly, managing vacation and sick leave, validating hourly employee records, and tracking timesheets and time-off requests
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain HR databases, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate
- Undertakes additional responsibilities and supports projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the overall improvement of the company

- Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines

- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, or similar software
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, with ADP Workforce Now being a plus
- Capable of quickly learning new HRIS and talent management systems
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience in field required
- At least 2-4 years of human resource experience required
