    Responsibilities:

    • Performs HR operations including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave management, disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
    • Oversee the entire recruitment process and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates for open positions, working closely with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies needed for each role
    • Manage the onboarding and hiring process by sending offer letters, ensuring completion of necessary documentation, and coordinating new hire orientation
    • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
    • Support payroll processing by updating employee files biweekly, managing vacation and sick leave, validating hourly employee records, and tracking timesheets and time-off requests
    • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
    • Maintain HR databases, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate
    • Undertakes additional responsibilities and supports projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the overall improvement of the company

    Requirements:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
    • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
    • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
    • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, or similar software
    • Familiarity with HRIS systems, with ADP Workforce Now being a plus
    • Capable of quickly learning new HRIS and talent management systems

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience in field required
    • At least 2-4 years of human resource experience required
