The Manager, Warehouse will ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, service and cost through meaningful engagements with warehouse associates best in-class service to customers and safe profitable operations.Responsibilities
* Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free always Champion safety procedures processes and training to create maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse.* Oversee develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching training on policy procedures assisting in problem resolution when required leading by example Discuss associate performance with Sr Warehouse Managers create plans to address gaps* Create cohesive organization keeping lines of communication open directing workforce to ensure efficient workflow* Direct supervise work productivity of associates within the warehouse department drive associate engagement retention create culture that embodies US Foods values* Participate building high-performing teams interviewing hiring warehouse personnel conjunction Sr Warehouse Managers review performance coach productivity safety targets deliver disciplinary action* Lead direct associates achieve accurate orders staged loaded trucks oversee preparation of the for shipping or receiving next shift Monitor operational information such as mis-picks productivity reports ensure entire shift meets rates follows preferred methods take action coaching counseling correct behaviors*Job description
