- Instructs children in practices of personal cleanliness and self care.
- Assists children with snacks and lunches as needed.
- Maintains floors, walls, doors, furnishings and fixtures in order to keep center clean, safe and presentable.
- Supervises and encourages toileting and as applicable, diapers.
- Grows professionally through education and workshops annually.

Summary
Assists in instruction of children in activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth needed as well as maintains safety and best practices for a child care setting.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred 3 units of ECE/CD or participating in an occupational program conducted by an accredited high school or college. Education and/or Experience are based on the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for the Child Development Permit Matrix. All coursework must meet the approved standards of Title It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain education and experience qualifications and provide proof of completion to the Tahoe Forest Hospital Human Resources Department and Tahoe Forest Children's Center Facility director in a timely manner.
