    Rello Search Partners is recruiting for a full time Human Resources Manager with our client in Pinellas Park, FL. Our client is a well-established manufacturer with locations in the US and Canada. The Human Resources Manager is a high visibility role and will have great exposure throughout the company.

    ** Work schedule is onsite full time. Only local candidates residing within a commutable distance to Pinellas Park and willing to work onsite full time will be considered for the position. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position. **

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage and supervise the human resources department and team of 2 direct reports.
    • Oversee payroll, HRIS, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, on-boarding and orientation, offboarding and termination, training, policy creation, revision, implementation, compliance and supporting strategic planning.
    • Manage multi-state and Canada payroll functions, including biweekly payroll, statutory reporting, withholdings, and payments in coordination with Paycom.
    • Accountable for the resolution of any payroll related issues.
    • Assist in employee benefit administration.
    • Travel to service branch locations and affiliated entities on a quarterly basis.
    • Prepare and monitor the annual budget for the human resources department.
    • Recommend, create and implement HR policies and procedures.
    • Prepare and update position job descriptions.
    • Manage the performance evaluation process at the 90-day mark for new hire and annually thereafter.
    • Coach managers on leadership, employee performance issues and other employee relation issues.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Respond to and handle employee inquiries, issues, disputes, and terminations, and when necessary, provide representation at employee-related hearings and investigations.
    • Analyze wage and salary reports and benefits data to determine competitive compensation programs.
    • Address worker's compensation issues.
    • Head up the Event Committee and participate in the Safety Committee.
    • Motivate and counsel employees.
    • Maintain an up-to-date awareness of important trends, changes in the law, or other development in the field of human resources.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree, SPHR or PHR a plus
    • 5+ years of human resources experience and 2+ years as a supervisor or manager
    • Manufacturing industry experience a plus
    • Multi-state Payroll and HRIS systems experience; Paycom a plus
    • Professional writing and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
    • Travel 10-20% required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
