    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Calling on intrepid Speech-Language Pathologists who like to work with local communities, and who can be flexible with covering services in various locations Soliant has partnered with a County Office of Education, and is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year.

    Applicants will be covering between 1-3 sites, and work with children with varying levels of needs. A sizeable portion of the caseload will consist of children with more involved needs.

    As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, the candidate will:

    • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
    • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
    • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
    • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
    • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
    • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
    • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
    • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

    • Excellent communication
    • Solid organization
    • Up-to-date knowledge of CaliforniaSpecial Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
    • Professionalism and accountability

    Requirements:

    • California SLP license, issued by the California Board of Speech and Hearing
    • Clinical services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is a plus, but not required
