    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Tele Cardiac position requiring a current AL or compact license and two years of recent specialty experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac patients
    • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    • Work is on the 6 North unit
    • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
    • Uses Meditech electronic medical record system
    • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
    • Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules; no HealthStream modules required prior to start
    • Cardiac exam link will be sent within 48 hours after offer acceptance and must be completed within 24 hours
    • Timekeeping is managed through Centricity

    Requirements

    • Active AL or compact RN license required at the time of consideration; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
    • No current or previous disciplinary actions or 'hits' on licenses allowed
    • Minimum of two years of RN experience, with at least one year recent experience in Med/Surg Tele or Cardiac specialty
    • Successful completion of a cardiac exam is required after offer acceptance
    • Resume, SSN, government-issued ID, license verification, skills checklist, and two recent references must be provided for consideration
