    Job DescriptionMaintenance Tech 1

    Location: Dalton, GA, 30721

    Overview

    We are seeking a Maintenance Tech 1 to join our team at our facility in Dalton, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong background in trouble shooting mechanical and electrical respairs in a manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and controls.
    • Identify and resolve mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment and machinery
    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
    • Collaborate with production team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
    • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
    Qualifications
    • Strong electrical troubleshooting background
    • Mechanical Repair and troubleshooting skills
    • Must have the ability to road and interpret technical manual and blueprints.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Effective communications sklls and ability to work well in a team
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
    • Physical stamina and ability to left heavy objects
    • Proficient in: Electrical and Mechanical Troublshooting.
    • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

    You should be proficient in:

    • Hydraulics Experience
    • PLC Programming Experience
    • PLC Wiring Experience
    • Pipefitting Skills
    • Troubleshooting CNC Machines
    • HVAC

    Machines & technologies you'll use:

    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

    Salary info:

    $20 - $25 / hr
