    Primary Function
    6 Month Contract-Seeking a motivated, creative, and highly organized Marketing Specialist to support a proprietary event series.

    Work closely with the series marketing strategist to deliver effective messaging and positioning, content, social and go to, marketing efforts.

    A seasoned events professional, this Specialist will have collaborated with diverse audience portfolios, including technology decision makers and share a solid understanding of event promotion.


    PAY TRANSPARENCY

    RANGE:
    $110k - $130k/annual
    Duties & Responsibilities
    Manage and update the two main event webpages
    Help drive messaging and positioning for our diverse audience
    Drive the field sales customer nomination and registration process, including training, weekly updates and tracking to target
    Create timely and accurate tracking and data-driven upstream reporting; develop data analysis to track, compare & contrast event efforts for continued plan improvements and enhancements
    Responsible for updating weekly graphs and tracking goals for registration reporting
    Collaborate with agency and marketing manager to ensure marketing messages track to objectives, drive registrations and event updates. Focus on quality.
    Help drive executive meetings in Jiffle Now tool, assist in RainFocus tool management as needed.
    Collaborate with agencies to create compelling and creative assets that help drive attendance
    Develop positive working relationships with project stakeholders and colleagues
    Possible occasional travel for site surveys, tech rehearsals and live events as needed
    Special projects and other duties as assigned
    Skills & Qualifications
    Energy and enthusiasm for the industry
    Understanding of analytical and statistical techniques
    Customer focus, understanding pain points, and the context in which they work
    High level of sense of urgency; Actively listens to others and acts upon information gained
    Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
    Good understanding of marketing vehicles ranging from social, web, email, and additional creative ways to reach target audiences
    Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people in a corporate environment, including execs, crew, clients, and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships
    Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and event management tools
    Education & Experience
    6+ years in an audience marketing, product marketing or product management role, or equivalent experience
    3+ years of social media and/or digital marketing experience with creative social media campaigns
    Proven ability to manage projects within the constraints of time, scope, and budget
    Direct experience with F100 tech companies and stakeholders is preferred
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Design or similar is preferred
