    U.S. Border Patrol Agent


    A highly rewarding job opportunity awaits you with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as a Border Patrol Agent. This is an entry-level, full-time position that offers excellent pay, exceptional federal benefits, and job stability.



    Salary and Benefits:


    • The annual base salary varies per grade level, ranging from $49,739 to $89,518 per year.
    • Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others.
    • You may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay under the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014.


    In addition to competitive compensation, you will enjoy a range of benefits including health insurance options,
    dental coverage,
    a generous leave program,
    and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP),
    a retirement plan akin to a traditional ROTH 401(k).



    Recruitment Incentives:


    Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents may qualify for incentives:
    • $20,000 recruitment incentive paid upon successful completion of training at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy (
