The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for overseeing patient care and guiding nursing staff during a shift, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered services.

They practice autonomously within professional standards and hospital policies, demonstrating critical thinking and evidence-based nursing skills.

Key duties include facilitating communication, managing staff assignments, resolving conflicts, and serving as a clinical role model, mentor, and resource.

The coordinator participates in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and process enhancements through LEAN projects, supporting ongoing staff education and compliance with care standards.

Qualifications include a valid RN license, a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting, with supervisory and charge experience preferred.

Certifications such as BLS and ACLS are required, along with a college degree (BSN preferred). The role involves night shifts, weekend rotations, and no travel, based at the designated medical center.
