- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and families, ensuring consideration of age-specific needs.
- Conduct interviews with patients to address healthcare concerns, provide counseling, administer medications and vaccines as prescribed, and maintain office equipment and supplies.
- Identify and communicate patient education needs to physicians, perform patient examinations, and engage in specialized procedures.
- Maintain competence through continuing education, demonstrating commitment to service excellence by understanding and addressing patient, family, physician, and co-worker needs effectively and efficiently.
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program with one year of clinical experience preferred.
- Hold a license as a Practical Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania and possess CPR certification meeting AHA standards.
- Must complete licensure examination within four months of hire or within one year of graduation.
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and hold a license as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
