- Develop and modify PLC systems, meeting client specifications and project deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues ensuring the smooth operation of the systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with hardware components and external devices.
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Introduce programming improvements in controls and logic systems that are consistent with customer changes or manufacturing requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during the implementation and deployment phases.
- Document system design, development processes, and user manuals for future reference.
- Stay up to date with the latest PLC techniques; attend conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills; conduct research and share findings with the team.
- Assist in the development and testing of PLC applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in cross-functional design and implementation discussions to contribute ideas and insights.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation, including software requirements and test plans.
- Protect the company's value by keeping information confidential.
- Perform cross-functional analysis and lead special projects as requested.
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science or comparable years of experience with PLC programming
- Proficient programming skills in PLC programming languages
- Experience with LabVIEW is a plus.
- Experience designing and engineering control systems for machine automation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide efficient solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
