    Demco serves the library and education communities in providing innovative, inspiring learning environments that spark curiosity and ignite learning. Our team is filled with talented, insanely curious individuals who constantly seek new and different ways to connect with our customers. As we continue to grow our proprietary product line, we also need to grow the team that develops these inspiring products. Demco is currently accepting resumes for our Product Engineer role.

    As our Product Engineer you will:
    • Play a pivotal role in the design, development, and improvement of educational furniture and products
    • Encompass the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to production
    • Apply engineering principles to create innovative and functional product designs while ensuring that they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
    • Collaborate across cross functional teams to ensure the products closely meet our customers' need
    To be qualified, you will have:
    • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in furniture design and engineering
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks required. Additional experience in Fusion 360 and AutoCAD preferred.
    • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
