    Responsibilities

    1. Product Lifecycle Management
    • Product Sales and Profit budget achievement
    • Improve Brand/Product awareness to Sales and Marketing
    • Research and determine End User needs for assigned product lines
    • Develop and implement New Product Development of assigned product lines
    • New product commercialization through established Stage Gate process
    • Lead projects directing Technical, Global Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales
    • Product expense cost reduction
    • Analyze and lead SKU Rationalization of assigned products
    • Manage life cycle of assigned products and develop plans to minimize obsolescence
    • Develop short-term and long-term strategic planning
    • Coordinate efforts with production planning forecasting efforts
    • Execute plans and projects on-time and on-budget
    • Analyze competitors' products and new products/developments with category
    • Execute necessary brand activations as directed, including Marketing Collateral, sheets, merchandising, website development, social media content, etc.
    2. Financial Accountability
    • Prepare monthly sales reporting and analysis of product line performance and profitability utilizing Business Objects and Excel
    • Collaborate with Finance leads to build proformas for new products and programs to assess financial feasibility
    • Work with Cost accounting to prepare cost quotes
    • Help prepare demand forecasts, monitor customer/retailer P.O.S data and monitor changes in product costs, product mix, and recommend subsequent/needed adjustments in pricing with Channel Marketing
    • Deliver product sales and profit within Product categories managed
    3. Communication & Training
    • Lead the development and communicate training on assigned product lines and new products
    • Assist development of sales tools including training manuals, catalogs, price lists and brochures
    Qualifications

    EDUCATION

    Required:

    •Bachelor's Degree in business or related field

    Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    Required:
    • 4+ years of prior experience in Marketing, Sales, Channel Management, Product Development or other relevant business experience
    • Business experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Ability to present to small and large audiences to internal and external customers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
    • Proficient in Business Objects
    • Proficient in Navigator
    • Operates under moderate supervision
    • Solid understanding of the General Marketing Mix, including Product, Place, Pricing, Promotion and Placement
    • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Proven record of success working in a fast-paced environment
    Preferred:
    • Experience marketing consumer goods that are sold through Home Centers or Paint Stores
    • Experience in the Coatings, Sealant or Consumer Products industry
    • Experience in working directly with end-users to uncover customer needs
    • Knowledge of Paint and Sealant Application methods
    • Past Product Management experience
