    Description
    Our team, supporting The USN Next Generation Enterprise Networks Recompete (NGEN-R) Contract, has an immediate need for a Communications Network Technician 2 with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Administer LAN/BAN/WANs, schedule conversions and cutovers, and coordinate with all responsible users and sites
    • Work with the technicians and managers to troubleshoot outages and resolve network related issues
    • Create maintenance tickets
    • Understand, implement, and follow processes in accordance with current policies and procedures
    • Install and maintain network devices at the site Job Requirements
    • Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • Must possess an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II such as a Security + CE certification
