    Position Overview

    The Senior Workday Analyst is responsible for leading the Workday team's planning, development, and change management of the Biannual Workday Releases. They will work closely with the COEs to determine and roll out new functionality during release cycles as well as annual and trimester projects.

    Key Result Areas (KRAs)

    Advise and Design New Workday Functionality:
    • Advise on Workday best practices and partner with COE(s) to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday's functionality
    • Work closely with COE(s), third party vendors and IT for integration creation, updates and testing
    • Understand dependencies across Workday modules (Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll and Benefits) and integrations with other systems
    • Continuously researches new capability areas within Workday, work with functional SMEs to vet against current business gaps and how the gaps can be remediated
    Manage Biannual Workday Releases:
    • Maintain awareness of Workday future releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future
    • Responsible for the thorough testing and analysis of new Workday features and functionality and participates in release planning, accountable for regression testing, unit testing, User Acceptance testing and pre-launch testing / sign-off for new features or enhancements
    • Define and implement the Release Management process and procedures
    • Coordinate enhancements to streamline functionality and drive improved user experience
    • Participate in the change management and go live support processes during upgrades; help maintain end-user training and job aids
    Lead Workday Team as functional expert:
    • Responsible for Workday Security Management and applicable SOX design, compliance and tracking.
    • Lead the SOX audits quarterly
    • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects and is accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end
    • Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, complex calculated fields, integrations, data transmission (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support
    • Architect solutions including configuration, integrations, security, testing, and implementation of new features and functionalities, managing the cross-functional impact
    Job Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • 4 years experience designing, implementing, or leading HRIS reporting systems required
    • 3+ years of experience with Workday preferred
    • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Experience with Time Tracking Integrations, Benefits EDIs, and Workday Connectors a plus
    • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
    • Thorough understanding of HRIS systems with a technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product

    Compensation:

    $95, DOE
