    Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our growing team.


    POSITION DESCRIPTION
    This position is on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.

    Interns are college students who work for Janicki Industries to obtain work experience in varying disciplines. They work during a college break, e.g. summer break for a duration of 10-12 weeks (minimum commitment of 10 weeks).


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


    The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Intern is to assist with the understanding of storage requirements needed for upcoming projects.


    The following essential job functions performed are:
    Create scale models of current storage space and mock up examples of future usage.
    Use analytical and computer skills to help forecast what is needed from information given.
    Completes assignments given by the respective assigned mentor.
    Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS


    Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C.

    1324b (a) (3).

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university degree engineering program. Industrial Engineering is preferred.
    Catia experience is required.
    Strong Excel and analytical skills.
    Must have the ability to multi-task.
    Must be able to work well independently and under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
    Must possess effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.


    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


    Wage range for this role is between $24 - $26 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits.

    Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janickis estimate of the base compensation for this role.
