    Job Summary:

    This management position serves as the point of contact for server or network related issues. They will plan, implement and support the current network and server infrastructure. The System/Network Engineer is expected to stay up-to-date on the latest patches, processes and procedures for both servers and network devices. In addition, they will look for new technologies to help automate and progress both technologies.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • This is primarily an on-site position.
    • Manage support contracts for all servers, server components, & network hardware
    • Manage, develop, review and implement processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server infrastructure
    • Implement configuration and maintenance best practices to maintain high network server availability
    • Coordinate patching of network servers with application team
    • Manage design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of network and server infrastructure
    • Industry specific security duties as assigned
    Required Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems and methodologies
    • Active Directory Management with Group Policies
    • Familiarity with network protocols and ports
    • Able to work with complex technical and business matters
    • Valid California driver's license with current DMV printout required
    Desired Skills:
    • Network switch topology design, implementation and maintenance
    • Advanced network troubleshooting
