MedStar Washington Hospital Center is an AHA Level 1 CICU with a 54-bed Medical and Surgical Cardiovascular ICU. Join our team of 6 dual-trained Critical Care Cardiologists

    MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a dual-boarded Critical Care Cardiologist to join our team managing Medical and Surgical CICU patients.

    In this role, you will join physician-led teams of Cardiology fellows, residents, interns, and critical care-trained APPs. Standard shift expectations for full-time Medical CICU providers is 15 weeks per year. Scheduling is flexible based on individual's clinical preferences for Medical CICU, Surgical CICU, and Cardiology.
    During non-clinical weeks, providers are encouraged to participate in departmental activities. MedStar Health offers considerable opportunities in research and leadership development.

    Base salary plus incentive compensation (years of experience taken into consideration)

    Education Training and Experience Required:
    Must be board-certified in both Cardiology and CCM.
    Commitment to clinical excellence is mandatory.
    Broad cognitive and technical skills in the critical care setting is required.
    Ability to communicate well with the medical team and family.
