    Description
    Our client in Leander is seeking a
    warehouse coordinator for a 3 month contract. Schedule is M-F, 8a-4:30p. Pay is $18/hr.
    Forklift experience required

    SUMMARY

    Reporting to the VP of Logistics, the Warehouse Coordinator is an integral part of the logistics team, assisting with all aspects of warehouse operations material handling and is responsible for moving, transferring, loading, and unloading all packaged goods.

    The position performs a variety of tasks requiring organization, collaboration, safety, and speed. Supports organizational initiatives using sound judgment with a high attention to detail.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manages visual database of inventory items
    • Prints appropriate labels
    • Assigns warehouse space for inventory storage
    • Creates reports as needed and requested
    • Manages receipt of freight, including unloading trucks
    • Creates custom packaging and installations
    • Maintains warehouse for cleanliness and safety
    • Makes deliveries and pickups using company vehicle
    • Refuels and washes company truck as needed
    • Elevates issues as needed for rapid resolution
    • Interacts with inter-company team members as necessary to ensure project direction and completion
    • Complies with all safety guidelines, proactively demonstrates safe work performance, and uses appropriate PPE for the job to ensure personal safety
    • Performs other duties as assigned or required at the manager's direction

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • 21+ years of age
    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
    • 1-2 years' experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
    • Valid U.S. Driver License and insurable motor vehicle record
    • Experience using a pallet jack, electric pallet lifter, stretch wrap and other common warehouse tools. Forklift experience/certification a plus.
    • Basic math, reading and writing skills
    • Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices
    • Willingness to undergo a criminal background and motor vehicle records check, in accordance with applicable laws
    • Ability to report to Leander warehouse daily and on-time

    EDUCATION & TRAINING


    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Forklift certification preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Able to repeatedly lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds using approved techniques
    • Able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, climb, bend, and reach
    • Able to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, etc.
    • Able to ascend and descend stairs carrying a load (where applicable)

    Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
