    Description

    AEROTEK has an immediate opening for a CUSTOMER SUPPORT EXPEDITOR for a full time opportunity in Philadelphia, PA with a leading aerospace company.

  • 1st shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday
  • Pay Rate: $25.75/hr
  • Overtime Available

    Description:

  • Expeditor is responsible for core returns (unserviceable parts) from customers and assures receipt in SAP system following processes and in accordance with FAA regulations.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for documentation and/or parts using this focus to provide improved quality acceptance of unserviceable parts.
  • Will work directly with shipping carriers in monitoring arrivals of cores. Expeditors ultimate responsibility is to:
    1. Reduce Turn Around Time
    2. Reduce Inventory
    3. Increase Materials Availability
    4. Increase Customer satisfactionSkills:
    5. Parts, SAP, Office, quality inspection, Logistics, expediting materials, customer support, Microsoft excel, aircraft maintenance, aerospaceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:

      Education

    6. High School diploma, bachelors degree (preferably in Quality assurance or Supply Chain competency),Experience
    7. 2 years of experience in distribution or a similar field through part-time or internship positions.
    8. SAP (Preferred)
    9. Microsoft Excel
    10. Experience working with multiple locations globally
    11. Incoming Quality Inspection (Preferred)
    12. Aviation Experience is a plusCompetencies & Attributes
    13. Must have strong oral and written communications skills.
    14. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
    15. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
