    Description

    Job Title: Evening or Night Shift Certified Nurse Aide at Hiram W. Davis Medical Center

    About the Company: Hiram W. Davis Medical Center, based in Petersburg, Virginia, is a leading 94-bed medical facility offering acute medical diagnoses, skilled care, intermediate care, and long-term care to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

    As a Certified Nurse Aide on the evening or night shift, you will play a crucial role in providing basic patient care under the guidance of nursing staff at an in-patient behavioral health hospital.

    • Perform tasks such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and moving patients.
    • Offer therapeutic interventions along with daily care for patients with mental health conditions.

    Benefits:

    • **$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for all eligible new hires**
    • Shift differentials: Evening Shift Weekday - $2.50, Night Shift Weekday - $2.25, All Shifts on the Weekend - $3.00

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • State Board License to practice as a Nursing Aide in the State of Virginia.
    • Knowledge of personal care needs, activities of daily living, and ability to carry out responsibilities effectively.
    • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating with others.
    • Aptitude for turning, bending, and lifting non-ambulatory patients without restrictions.
    • Skills in maintaining electronic health records and providing patient care under licensed nursing staff supervision.
    • Willingness to work evening or night shifts with rotating weekend availability.

    Additional Considerations:

    • Prior experience in working with behavioral health population and/or skilled nursing facility.
