    Description

    Telecommunications Mechanic II

    The Telecommunications Mechanic II maintains, installs, removes, and troubleshoots telecommunications equipment, service lines, and LAN services. They perform technical tasks in accordance with Performance Work Statement requirements.

    • Installation and Maintenance:
      • Maintain install remove all instruments service lines LAN service.
      • Complete installation removal moves including connectors terminators removal unused cables copper coaxial fiber optic.
      • Perform Dial Central Office administration tasks including moves adds changes using Cisco Unified Call Manager Unity Connection Voicemail Systems.
    • Service Orders Troubleshooting:
      • Complete service orders telephone programming service updates service extensions.
