    Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced RN CVOR professional to support a prominent Level 1 Trauma and Teaching hospital in Bonaire, GA. This role centers around delivering high-quality perioperative care in a well-equipped surgical environment featuring 20 OR rooms and 2 cystoscopy suites. The facility is nationally recognized as a Chest Pain and Stroke Center, handling a diverse patient population with a wide scope of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular procedures.

    Qualifications and Desired Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years general OR experience; 5 years preferred for CVOR specialization
    • Current RN licensure with Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentials preferred, with BLS certification
    • Strong proficiency in perioperative nursing and teamwork
    • Experience or comfort with technology utilized includes EPIC Optime EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Phillips monitoring systems

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide aseptic and patient-centered nursing care in operative settings
    • Support complex surgical cases ranging from orthopedic joint replacements to cardiovascular open-heart procedures
    • Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
    • Participate in a structured weekend and holiday call rotation, averaging 6-8 calls per month
    • Uphold unit culture focused on inclusion, safety, and cooperative effort across all staff

    Shift and Schedule:

    • 10-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, included in a six-week schedule cycle
    • Call responsibilities and weekend rotations discussed during hiring interview for clear expectations
    • Orientation provided for one week to facilitate smooth transition into unit protocols
