Summary: As a specialist in Mac Administration - JAMF, this role will be dedicated to supporting all Apple computers within the organization. The focus will be on ensuring a consistent user experience across all Apple devices. Responsibilities will include developing configuration policies, testing, documentation, updating procedures, and effectively communicating information. In addition, the role involves creating documentation for downstream support teams, training Desktop Support on new procedures, and staying updated on the latest Apple and JAMF trends to enhance device management.

Key responsibilities consist of:

• JAMF Configuration and Deployment:
• Configure and deploy Mac computers using JAMF Pro.
• Create and manage JAMF policies, scripts, and packages.
• Implement security policies and encryption.
• Software Management and Licensing:
• Manage software licenses and subscriptions.
• Coordinate with software vendors for procurement.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
• Monitor system health and performance.
• Conduct regular system checks and updates.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce security policies.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• End-user Support and Training:
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Develop training sessions and resources.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Generate reports and metrics.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends.

Salary for this position ranges from $88,639 to $111,897 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience:

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
• Experience in computer system hardware, software, or networking.
• High School Diploma with significant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mac Administrator with JAMF expertise.
• Strong knowledge of macOS systems and hardware.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Experience with IT security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
• JAMF certification is a plus.
