OR Surgery Supply Coordinator

We are looking for an OR Surgery Supply Coordinator to join a community hospital located in Hollywood, CA. The Surgery Supply Coordinator will be working with the Central Supply Team. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that surgical units are well equipped to provide top-notch patient care.

This position is Temp-To-Hire, Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm. Pay rate is $25.00- $35.00+ D.O.E

Job Duties

• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to your assigned unit.
• Monitor stock levels on a daily basis.
• Strategically plan and execute re-supply orders, optimizing cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, both active and completed.
• Perform quality checks on received orders to ensure accuracy.
• Fill floor stock as assigned
• Collaborate with schedulers to procure special supplies needed for specific cases.
• Maintain knowledge of daily and projected schedules to anticipate supply needs.
• Take responsibility for physicians' supply requirements.

Job Requirements

• 1+ Year of experience purchasing in a medical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety
