    PR Mgt. has been retained to seek a degreed HR Manager with manufacturing plant personnel in low COL Easton, Maine. The successful candidate will be a mature thinking individual with 10 + years in a similar non-union environment with excellent communication and management skills seeking to establish a sophisticated family atmosphere in an industry that is not labor intensive.     Responsibilities and requirements:

    • Employee/labor relations Handles compliance issues at the plant, implements employee programs and policies, works with management to resolve problems, ensures consistency and maintains a visible presence.
    • Recruiting and retention Sources and retains talent at all levels.
    • Training and organizational development Assesses plant needs, conducts training, manages resources to meet training needs.
    • Compensation and benefits Manage comp and benefits programs, anticipates questions, encourages participation at all levels, interprets and applies competitive market data.
    • Performance management
    • Succession planning and career management
    • Budgeting creates and manages HR budget.
    • Technology usage Uses tools (Microsoft office, Internet, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Acts as a role model sets a strong example to reinforce organizational priorities, norms and performance
    • Drive high performance Communicates clear goals, standards and expectations to others and challenges people throughout the organization to exceed current levels of performance.
    • Build strong plant and corporate business relationships.
