    Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialized machinery and equipment for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. They are seeking a results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales team covering the West Coast territory.

    Territory:
    WA, OR, CA, ID, NV, AZ, UT, MT, WY, CO, NM, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, & TX.


    Salary:
    $100K-$120K + commission

    Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO


    Responsibilities:


    Sell products and services offered by our client & their affiliated companies to accounts within the assigned territory and to other assigned accounts.

    Visit existing and potential customers to identify sales opportunities & customer requirements, recommendation of products & services to meet customer needs, address customer service issues, identify key customer contacts & decision makers, and develop business relationships with assigned territory and at assigned accounts.

    Develop relationships with equipment users & key decision-makers in development, clinical manufacturing, technical services, production, engineering, and purchasing.
    Actively manage and & handle the sales cycle from initial inquiry to order placement.
    Develop

    proposals/quotations


    in conjunction with our client's technical staff for their process equipment, engineered equipment, spare parts, and engineering support services based upon direct communication and interaction with customers in the development of system specification and design.

    Refine

    proposals/quotations

    as needed and close sales orders.
    Manage key accounts as assigned.

    Identify new customers and opportunities for our client's product & services through professional networking, attendance at trade shows and industry meetings.


    Requirements/Qualifications:
    B.S. in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
    Minimum of 10 years of sales experience (capital equipment or pharmaceutical industry-related experience highly preferred)
    Experience in oral solid dosage is highly preferred.
    Candidate must have a valid driver's license AND a valid passport.
