Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Program Analyst for one of our DoD clients.
RequirementsThe Program Analyst provides the client with mission and management support necessary to sustain day-to-day departmental functions with regards to the efficient execution of research portfolios.
Specific tasks include:
Assist program officers and coordinators by providing administrative support to include collecting, compiling, documenting, and distributing input for quarterly and annual reviews, site visits, and other events.
After final approval, review administrative completeness of the investment package against established policies and forward for management approval.
Monitor investment package and portfolio schedules and budgets against established timelines and execution plans to ensure timely execution of investment actions.
Review accuracy of metric and budget data of external systems of record against internal client business systems, briefs, and other reports; document discrepancies and report to applicable leadership for further action.
Provide detailed reports on investment packages that are behind established metrics, utilized funds received beyond core budget, and/or have been declared high-priority packages.
Support the processing and tracking of Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR) including drafting and new support agreement document(s) for management approval.
Assist in the administrative and logistical preparation and execution of successful reviews and workshops; develop and/or edit briefings, reports, and other documents.
Provide Defense Travel System (DTS) authorization including preparation of authorizations / vouchers, draft and route approval memos, and track approved travel and timely voucher submissions.
Experience Requirements5+ years' experience monitoring programs and/or projects.Ability to able to gather, assemble, and analyze facts; draw conclusions; and develop and articulate solutions to complex issues and problems.
Possess a high degree of skill in both oral and written communication, ability to perform analysis, and provide facilitation and preparation of oral and written responses consistent with departmental responsibilities.
