    Job Description

    Hunter Trim & Cabinets, Inc. is a family-owned custom cabinet shop in North Fort Worth.

    We provide cabinetry services to custom home builders, contractors, and homeowners throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

    We are known for our quality workmanship/craftsmanship and customer service.

    Responsibilities

    1. Cabinet Assembly: Read cabinet drawings and specifications, verifying dimensions and checking the quality or fit of pieces to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.
    2. Cabinet Building: Assemble cabinets using pneumatic and electrical hand tools, attaching parts or sub-assemblies together to form completed units using screws or other fasteners.
    3. Machinery Operation: Set up and safely operate machines and tools such as table saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, and nail guns.

    Requirements

    • Education and Experience:
      • Proven ability in millwork, carpentry, and production experience (minimum 2 years)
      • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Licenses and Certifications:
    • Skills and Attributes:
      • Knowledge and ability to use handheld power tools, fabricating machines, and power equipment and basic maintenance.
      • Analytical skills - ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.
      • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
      • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills to calculate measurements, such as length, surface area, and volume. Ability to read a tape measure.
      • Must be able to work in a team environment and speak in group settings.
    • Working Conditions:
      • Work is performed in a shop floor production environment.
      • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts; exposed to vibration, humidity, changes in temperature, and loud noise.
    • Special Requirements:
      • 18 years of age or older
      • Able to read a tape measure.
      • Able to use pneumatic and electrical hand tools, machinery, and saws.
