- Premium Statements:Verify the accuracy of monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and process payments to various insurance carriers on behalf of client employers.
- Monitor Deductions and Premiums:Stay informed about changes in client employer and employee deductions and premiums.
- Billing Discrepancies:Investigate and resolve any monthly billing discrepancies, acting as a liaison between client employers and carriers.
- 2-4 Years of Benefits Experience:You should have a solid background in benefits administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office:Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
- Knowledge of Benefit Laws:Preferred understanding of employee benefit laws, including ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Data Entry Skills:Excellent data entry abilities are crucial for accuracy.
- Cost Analysis:Ability to understand, analyze, and explain benefit costs.
