Require/Desire Skills

• Candidate MUST have PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA)
• Experience with Agile
• 7 years of project experience in IT Infrastructure, Identity Access Management, Risk Management, SIEM, Software as a Service (SaaS)
• Experience managing large multi-stream and complex projects for successful completion of all project phases

Job Description:

• Senior IT Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.
• The project manager is responsible for the outcome of the assigned projects.
• The project manager leads the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful completion of the project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closeout.
• Candidate MUST have PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA).
• Candidate must also be able to work onsite 3-4 days/week
• 7 years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery, network and server infrastructure, knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices.
• Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.)
• Experience managing large multi-stream projects
• Experience in various software development methodologies. Preferred experience with Agile.
• This position requires a fingerprint-based background check.
