    Vantage Data Centers is looking for a skilled Network Automation Engineer.

    You will be joining our global team and contributing to the successful implementation of our Network automation project by collaborating closely with the network team to automate recurring tasks.

    You will be working as part of a global, distributed team working to deliver infrastructure automation. What you will be doing


    • Automate reporting o Using our centralized network management tool's API, collect equipment versions
    o Publish these versions in a database
    o Build dashboards to visualize current and history data


    • Write config templates o Work with our network engineering team to write code to configure switches, firewalls, access points, etc.
    o Mentor the network engineering team on how to use Infrastructure-as-Code


    • Identify new opportunities for automation
    o Offer new ideas, implementations, ways to do things. You will be expected to take on an active role in determining the roadmap of the network automation. Core skills required.


    • Experience managing a large network infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, Access Points, etc)
    • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
    • Can write code in Python, Bash or PowerShell
    • Capable of interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders ranging from engineers to directors Nice to have skills
    • Experience running applications in Kubernetes and creating Helm Charts
    • Knowledge of log aggregation platforms such as Elasticsearch or Splunk
    • Experience using PowerBI for reporting
    • At ease in a global, multi-cultural environment
    • Can work under minimal supervision
    • Good negotiation skills, cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and the ability to influence stakeholders
    • Experience working with Fortinet Firewalls and Switches will be highly advantageous
    • CCNA/CCNP/NSE4/NSE5 certifications or equivalent certifications
