Nurse Practitioner

You will utilize your exceptional interpersonal and empathetic skills, along with your understanding of diagnostic procedures, to provide medical services to ambulatory patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Take complex medical histories, perform physical examinations, order laboratory tests, x-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
Management & Development: Reach tentative diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and interact with specialty medical teams.
Patient Satisfaction: Interact with patients, family members, and regulatory agencies, requiring empathy, problem-solving, education, and counseling.
Medication & Orders: Prescribe medication, write orders, and respond to emergency condition changes.
Documentation: Obtain patient histories, review records, and record data to develop comprehensive medical status and treatment plans.

Requirements:

MS in Nursing (Required)
RN - Registered Nurse Certification from New York State Education Department (NYSED)
NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification from New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly.

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year.
