    You Are A Part Of:
    Quantum is seeking a self-motivated and detail oriented Income Tax Manager to join our team.

    Reporting directly to our Director of Tax, this position is essential in helping to keep Quantum compliant in accordance with foreign and US state and local laws.


    Key Job Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Prepare quarterly and annual global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 and related financial statement disclosures, including computation of foreign tax provisions, deferred taxes, and uncertain tax positions.

    Act as the main contact for communication with the Company's external auditors.
    Prepare tax return workpapers and work with outside consultants to get federal and state tax returns filed.
    Review foreign income tax returns prepared by outside consultants and prepare associated return-to-provision calculations.
    Support worldwide SOX processes and maintain SOX compliance.
    Perform income tax research and analysis as needed and communicate and implement findings to various internal and external stakeholders.
    Stay abreast of income tax legislation both domestically and internationally.
    Prepare quarterly general ledger account reconciliations for all income tax accounts.

    Collaborate with other business groups to understand the tax impact of business operations and ensure proper income tax obligations are addressed.

    Complete special projects as needed.

    Required Skills and/or Experience:
    A bachelor's degree in accounting or master's degree in tax.
    8 or more years of professional experience.
    Robust knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate income tax accounting.

    Excellent research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, and reconcile tax data and learn from it.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to explain tax concepts to individuals who do not possess knowledge of tax compliance matters.

    Confidence to question existing processes to improve and streamline workstreams.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Professional demeanor, team player with ability to work well with cross functional teams, and positive attitude.
    Highly organized, self-motivated, and strong attention to detail with precision.
    CPA license or actively working towards attainment is a plus, but not required.
    Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines.

    About the Role:
    This role is a process and area manager, however this role does not have direct reports at this time.

    For transparency:

    your functional title will be Income Tax Manager, for HR purposes your level of role is to be Tax Accountant V.

    Anticipated Salary Range:
    $70,000 to $160,000 for qualified applicants.
    The above pay range represents Quantum's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Pay within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience,

    skills/abilities, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
