    Position Objective



    Clover Park Technical College is looking for Upholstery Substitute Instructors.

    Sub Rate: $30.00 hour


    This role requires on-site presence at our Lakewood campus.


    This position is part of the Clover Park Federation of Teachers, Local 3913, AFT/ AFT Washington.


    Duties and Tasks (Essential Functions)


    Upholstery Substitute Requirements

    • Maintain and manage classroom environment, equipment, tools, and supplies.
    • Create and maintain a professional and respectful atmosphere with students.
    • Ensure a safe environment following college policies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Three to five years of upholstery experience.
    • Familiarity with furniture and/or automotive upholstery practices.
    • Knowledge of Pfaff and Juki sewing machines.
    • Skills in customer service or public speaking.

    Preferred Qualifications


    Previous training or teaching experience is an advantage.
